Job summary

Amplify is seeking an Instructional Coach, Literacy to strengthen literacy instruction across K-5 and 6-8 through job-embedded coaching and data-informed support. The role requires collaboration with district and school leaders to align with priorities and ensure successful implementation of Amplify CKLA programs.

The position is remote within the United States, with local travel up to four days a week, and is offered as a fixed-term full-time opportunity with a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Passionate about literacy and deep knowledge of structured literacy.
• Experience leading sustained coaching engagements and professional development for educators in K-5 or 6-8.
• 5+ years of K-5 or 6-8 ELA teaching experience, leading to demonstrable results for students.
• Experience working on collaborative projects with leaders and teachers.
• Experience analyzing data and using it to inform practice.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, etc.).
• Able to travel locally (up to 4 days per week) across the Grand Ledge Public Schools area to support educators.

Responsibilities

• Providing coaching to teachers to strengthen literacy instruction.
• Leading classroom observations and providing feedback to teachers and leaders.
• Facilitating PLCs and office-hour consultations.
• Supporting data analysis and instructional planning.
• Analyzing student work and formative assessment data.
• Traveling to support educators locally.
