Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Building Literacy Lead to support elementary literacy implementation across a school, aligning instruction with evidence-based practices. The role collaborates with the district and school staff to provide guidance, resources, and professional development for teachers.

The BLL will help analyze literacy data, support Read Act compliance, and coordinate district literacy initiatives through coaching, model lessons, and PLCs, over a three-year term with a stipend.

Qualifications

• Certified educator with a strong background in literacy instruction.
• Read Act Certified (elementary) and ELA background (secondary)
• Strong leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators at various levels.
• Experience analyzing and utilizing literacy data to drive instruction.

Responsibilities

• Implement literacy practices aligned with district/state standards.
• Support Read Act screening and intervention implementation.
• Provide ongoing professional development and coaching.
• Coordinate with PLCs and grade-level teams on literacy data.
• Serve as liaison between school leadership and District Literacy Lead.
• Monitor literacy data and adjust interventions as needed.
• Share district resources and best practices with staff.
