United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley (UWGLV) seeks a Panther Valley Literacy Coordinator VISTA to strengthen literacy access in Panther Valley, PA. You will help expand library services, launch Little Free Libraries, and build partnerships to sustain reading initiatives across Panther Valley School District.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
18+ years old minimum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Support expansion of Panther Valley literacy services and library programs.
Assist with implementation of a library circulation software system.
Organize and catalog library collections and establish circulation procedures.
Coordinate the launch of Little Free Libraries and establish book distribution systems.
Develop partnerships and data tracking for measuring book circulation and community engagement.
Support literacy outreach and family engagement to promote reading.
