Job summary

Maricopa County is seeking a Learning Acceleration Field Specialist to support Grades 4-6 literacy across multiple sites. You will coach teachers, co-plan, co-teach, and deliver professional learning in Science of Reading and Structured Literacy using a Student-Centered Coaching model.

You’ll partner with instructional coaches and school leaders to strengthen Tier 1 literacy in classrooms and build capacity for sustained improvement, with focus on student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in education program implementation and administration.
• Master’s Degree in Education required.
• Reading Endorsement and K-5 Literacy Endorsement required.
• Experience with partnership-based coaching models.
• Experience supporting adult learning and school-level instructional change as an administrator or member of a school or district leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor implementation of student-centered coaching and literacy acceleration.
• Design and deliver professional learning aligned to Science of Reading and Structured Literacy.
• Develop training materials, resources, and implementation tools.
• Collaborate with school leadership to monitor progress and provide feedback.
