Job summary

Watson Clinic LLP in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Laboratory Information System Analyst II to provide computer technical services to the laboratory. You will support daily LIS operations, manage vendor and project activities, design and test changes, validate LIS billing, and train staff on new functions.

This role requires strong collaboration, detail orientation, and ability to coordinate cross‑department testing and implementation, ensuring audits and inspections readiness and accurate billing

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related Science with LIS training.
• Experience in clinical laboratory settings and LIS environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of change control processes and audit readiness is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Daily operations – track change control for all systems and prioritize requests.
• Vendor Management – open/manage tickets and projects; document for audits/inspections.
• Project Management – design requirements, test plans, and coordinate testing/implementation across departments.
• Communication – update management and document project status; inform staff of changes.
• System billing validation – ensure correct billing for patients, payers, and clinic revenues.
