Job summary

PathGroup in the United States seeks an LIS Implementation Analyst to lead technical teams on LIS implementations and upgrades, serving as a subject matter expert on LIS functionality and issue troubleshooting.

You will collaborate with the MDI team to maintain LIS data quality and compliance for CAP, CLIA and other regulatory agencies, ensuring accurate test builds and the integration of client information and patient data for ordering, results and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience leading LIS implementations
• Subject matter expert in LIS functionality
• Ability to troubleshoot LIS issues

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on LIS functionality to Operations and IT Management
• Lead projects involving new LIS installations and integrations at other locations
• Maintain, support, and maximize LIS functionality through user training
• Receive, prioritize, document, troubleshoot and resolve end-user requests for LIS
• Ensure procedures related to LIS are established and maintained
• Conduct testing to validate functionality before changes are used
• Review and suggest application changes to increase LIS effectiveness
• Manage system downtime and backup procedures
• Protect PHI and sensitive data per regulatory guidelines
• Abide by PathGroup Compliance Program and policies
