Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead liquid products operations, drive daily management, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. You will mentor and supervise up to 50 hourly employees and work to resolve issues quickly.

You will coach teams, manage staffing and training, drive continuous improvement, and ensure communication of policies and objectives across the line.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience in a food-manufacturing environment with lead or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of food safety concepts and quality procedures.
• Budgetary concepts and engineering concepts understood.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff and provide feedback to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Identify and resolve process and equipment problems to maintain productivity.
• Drive daily management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and food safety behavior are adhered to and issues resolved quickly.
• Own scorecards, gap analysis, and action planning for the line.
• Coach teams, manage staffing and training, and communicate policy and objectives.
