Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a supervisor to oversee liquid products operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coaching a team of hourly staff.

You will own daily management, incident elimination, scorecards, and continuous improvement projects, guiding operators to standard work and problem solving. The role requires 2 years of supervisory food-manufacturing experience and a degree in Food Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory experience in a food-manufacturing environment.
• Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Knowledge of food safety concepts and quality procedures.
• Budgetary and engineering concepts familiarity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of assigned staff to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Identify and resolve process and equipment problems to maintain output.
• Improve quality and productivity through new ideas and process changes.
• Communicate with employees to ensure policy compliance.
• Drive Daily Management Systems and leader standard work initiatives.
• Own incident elimination, CIL, and defect handling processes.
• Ensure safety, quality, and food safety issues are resolved quickly.
• Own scorecards, gap analysis, and action planning for the line.
• Lead operational reviews and shift hand-offs.
• Develop operator capability in reliability standard work.
