Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division seeks a Chief Engineer - Liquid Cooling for Greencastle facility. You will lead on-site engineering for IFM services, including hard services and advanced liquid cooling systems supporting dense computing environments.

You will provide technical leadership, manage the team, and ensure safe, reliable facility performance, with focus on preventive maintenance and vendor relationships. This role offers growth within a global FM organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or military experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
• Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
• Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
• Must be capable of reading electrical schematics, mechanical, and plumbing blue prints
• Proficient in Windows based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Good working knowledge of plant maintenance including Electrical, Boilers, Hydraulics, and more

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety of all operating equipment within the facility
• Develop and train all staff in plant and emergency procedures
• Handle the procurement of all repair parts for routine preventative and emergency repairs
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
• Develop a plant wide Preventative maintenance schedule for all building, process equipment, and all plant utilities
• Maintain the departmental budget with focus on parts, supplies and labor management
• Assure compliance with all wastewater and emissions standards
• Oversee outside contractors in the repairs and upkeep of plant equipment
• Available for off-site, plant startups and special projects
