Job summary

ESFM, the on-site engineering leader for Compass Group USA, seeks a Chief Engineer for Liquid Cooling on 2nd shift. You will oversee hard services, critical infrastructure, and advanced liquid cooling in high-density compute environments.

The role requires 7–10+ years in facility engineering, EPA 608, and strong leadership. You will drive reliability, safety, and efficiency with a cross-functional team and client engagements.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in facility engineering or mission-critical environments.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams or site operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and liquid cooling systems.
• Experience in data center or high-reliability environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead IFM hard services delivery across M/E/P and critical infrastructure.
• Manage and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors; define roles and coverage.
• Act as site technical authority for liquid cooling: CDUs, pumps, heat exchangers, piping, controls.
• Oversee operation and optimization of liquid cooling systems, monitor temp/pressure/flow.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for mechanical and cooling failures.
• Ensure 24/7 operation through preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Own site KPIs, SLAs, and safety/regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party providers.
• Interface with client stakeholders and support reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement for uptime, efficiency, sustainability.
