Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. is seeking a Production Operator in the Cleveland area to support our Liquid Division. This role ensures safe, efficient production of chemical products and requires following SOPs, operating equipment, and maintaining logs and quality checks.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in manufacturing; basic math proficiency is required. The position offers an earned bonus structure and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

Ability to pass a basic math test.
Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients using appropriate forms and follow SOPs to determine batch amounts and equipment needs.
Operate, stage, and maintain manufacturing equipment according to posted conditions, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
Record data accurately on batch tickets, equipment logs, and quality testing results; complete required quality checks.
Fill and secure mixed products into designated containers and move them to the warehouse staging area.
Communicate any issues or abnormalities to the team leader or supervisor and attend all required company-sponsored training.
Handle hazardous and general liquid waste properly, ensuring containers are labeled, covered, and staged; report all accidents, near misses, and property damage promptly.
