First Quality is hiring a Chemical Blending Operator for the Salt Lake City, UT facility. You will operate mixers and blending equipment, ensure CGMP compliance, and maintain accurate batch records. Safety, sanitation, and proper chemical handling are essential.

The role requires a high school diploma, chemistry background preferred, and 2–3 years of industrial blending experience. Training provided; competitive benefits and growth opportunities exist within the First Quality family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Chemistry background preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience as a machine operator in a production setting.
• Blending and batch mixing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Must be organized and quick to learn new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers, pre-mixers, tanks and blending equipment to produce liquids.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA/CGMP guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation and proper handling of chemicals; report spills.
• Record data on batch sheets and logs accurately.
• Transfer finished product and manage storage tanks per procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment to ensure batch quality and uptime.
