Job summary

First Quality seeks a Chemical Blending Operator at the Salt Lake City, UT facility. You will run mixers and blending equipment to produce liquid products, ensuring safety, sanitation, and compliance with CGMP standards. You will record batch data and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality and minimize waste.

The role requires a chemistry background, 2–3 years of production experience, and strong communication skills. Forklift operation and willingness to learn are helpful in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Chemistry background preferred.
• 2-3 years of machine operator experience in a production setting.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to operate forklifts and handle materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Operates mixers, pre-mixers and blending equipment to produce liquid products.
• Monitors sanitation and CGMP compliance throughout the process.
• Records batch data accurately on logs and sheets.
• Inspects equipment for issues and escalates as needed to prevent waste.
• Maintains safe, clean and organized process areas and supports waste water testing.
