Job summary

Sealed Air designs and delivers packaging solutions to protect goods, preserve food, enable e-commerce, and support resilient supply chains. We seek an experienced maintenance technician for morning shifts with a $30.00/hour rate plus a $0.50 shift premium, based in Minnesota.

2–5 years in industrial electronics and PLC familiarity preferred. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, equipment modifications, and safety-focused tasks across plant operations while documenting findings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial electronics or related field.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems; PLCs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost and production requirements with minimal supervision.
• Perform trouble shooting and calibration.
• Perform overhauls and preventative maintenance inspections on machinery and equipment.
• Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment.
• Rebuild equipment components.
• Perform standard maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds.
• Accept personal responsibility for condition of assigned equipment.
• Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations.
• Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals.

Job Description

Shift: Morning - 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Rotating Shift Schedule

Shift Premium Amount: $0.50

Pay Rate: $30.00

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Industrial Electronics or related field
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers preferred
• Strong electrical background

• Safety conscious mindset
• Experience using a computer (Maximo, MS Office).
• Ability to drive a forklift and scissor lift preferred

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to frequently lift up to 40lbsAble to constantly work in a non-conditioned environment
• Able to frequently ascend/descend a ladders/stairs as required to repair equipment
