Job summary

GenScript USA Inc/ProBio Inc. seeks a highly motivated scientist to join the Innovation Center for novel lipid or polymer molecules for RNA and gene delivery formulations. You will lead synthetic efforts from R&D to scale-up and contribute to scalable, biocompatible lipid-based delivery systems.

The role requires a Ph.D. in organic, lipid, or polymer chemistry, 1+ year post-doctoral experience, and a track record of publications or patents.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in organic, polymer or lipid chemistry from an accredited university.
• Minimum 1 year of post-doctoral experience in academia or industry; GMP experience a plus.
• Proven track record via publications or patents; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on chemist conducting novel organic and lipid polymer synthesis for RNA/drug delivery platform.
• Develop scalable synthetic processes for potential commercial use in LNP formulations.
• Characterize analytical data using HPLC, LC-MS, NMR and related instruments; maintain lab and inventories.
