Job summary

Quevera seeks an Application Engineer III with an active TS/SCI clearance to support mission-critical programs at Fort Meade, Maryland. You will help modernize security evaluation and authorization through automation, monitoring, and data-driven operational support across software, systems engineering, and operations.

This blended role covers Linux and cloud environments, watch floor operations, and collaboration with software teams to ensure 24x7 service reliability.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Experience with monitoring platforms (Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, CloudWatch).
• Experience administering Linux systems and validating resource utilization.
• Experience supporting AWS environments (EC2, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with dataflow tools (NiFi, Cribl, Kafka, Logstash).
• DevOps experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab Pipelines, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application systems for data reliability and availability.
• Perform continuous monitoring and proactive troubleshooting to maintain performance and health.
• Identify and resolve operational issues via configuration changes, updates, or escalation.
• Monitor dashboards, logs, alerts, and metrics to prevent downtime.
• Support watch floor operations by identifying service degradation and issues.
• Perform Linux admin tasks including logs review, service management, and reboots.
• Support AWS-based operations via Console or CLI for health checks and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and operations teams to maintain enterprise services.
• Contribute to automation and continuous monitoring initiatives.
