Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Linux System Administrator (Level 2) in Annapolis Junction, MD, for a full-time role requiring active TS/SCI with Polygraph. You will manage enterprise Linux and Windows systems, handle escalations, perform upgrades, and ensure STE compliance to protect secure data transfers.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree or equivalent experience and strong Linux, hardware, and networking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 10+ years of Systems Administration experience on similar programs, or 15 years without a degree.
• Strong hands-on Linux administration across CentOS 7, Rocky Linux 9, and RHEL 9.
• Experience with STE tasks and secured data transfer workflows.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, patch, and maintain enterprise Linux and Windows systems.
• Provide Tier 1 and II troubleshooting for client, server, storage, and network components.
• Execute hardware/software installations and system upgrades.
• Support STE requirements and secure data transfer processes.
• Optimize system operations and perform capacity planning and analysis.
• Manage ticket escalations and track hardware dispatch workflows.
• Maintain network components and implement OS enhancements.
