Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer – TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph to support a secure data center in the Annapolis, MD area. The role requires working standard business hours in the SCIF, Monday–Friday, and strong Linux and Windows systems engineering and network administration experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing enterprise networks, collaborating with engineering teams, and delivering high-level LAN/WAN expertise, with a focus on security and performance

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• 3+ years of systems and network administration/engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Knowledge of key networking technologies and protocols including EIGRP, BGP, SD-WAN, and MPLS.
• Experience with WAN, LAN, firewalls, and Cisco router/switch configuration.
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Previous experience with VMware, including building and deploying virtual machines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise customer data networks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support customer project requests.
• Provide high-level technical expertise for LAN and WAN environments.
• Recommend improvements to network and systems performance, efficiency, and security.
