Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a Systems Administrator in Annapolis, MD to provide Tier 1 IT support in a secure environment. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph and hands-on incident management, asset control, and user administration within an enterprise IT setting.

Responsibilities include prompt user support across channels, ServiceNow ticketing, and documentation of troubleshooting. A strong background in customer service and security reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED plus 5+ years of hands-on technical/customer support experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
• CompTIA A+ CE and/or CompTIA Network+ CE.
• Demonstrated experience using ServiceNow for ticketing and incident management.
• Proven ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to user inquiries via phone, email, chat, and help desk systems.
• Log, track, update, and route incident tickets in ServiceNow with detailed troubleshooting notes.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and basic network issues.
• Perform account management tasks including password resets and access provisioning.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software, OS, and peripherals.
• Assist with IT asset inventory and tracking.
• Author knowledge base articles and SOPs for recurring issues.
• Identify and report potential cybersecurity incidents to security leads.
• Provide mentoring and onboarding guidance to junior technicians.
