Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator Linux Range Network to support our government customer in Kekaha, Hawai'i. The role provides Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration for both classified and unclassified networks on the PMRF.

Responsibilities include applying security patches, RMF controls, and maintaining SOPs. Develop automation with PowerShell, Bash, and Python; support virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and assist with incident response and disaster

Qualifications

• A.S. Degree or four years directly related system administration experience may substitute for degree.
• 1 year of System Administration/IT experience.
• Advanced certifications or education may substitute for degree/experience.
• Knowledge of IT systems and advanced IT infrastructure concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Red Hat Linux environments across Navy networks.
• Implement RMF security controls and ensure DISA STIGs compliance.
• Patch and update Linux systems per DoW/Navy policies.
• Manage imaging and automation tools (SCCM, VMware, Nutanix, Satellite, Ansible).
• Perform system hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation (ACAS, ESS, SCAP).
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation of admin tasks.
