Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to maintain Linux and Windows servers and workstations, while embracing new technologies to meet evolving requirements. You will provide onsite IT support, escalate from desktop teams, and coordinate with the information assurance team for compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of System Administrator experience.
• Minimum of 2 years administering Linux with Ubuntu servers/workstations.
• Experience in AWS cloud environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with external vendors, customers, and management.
• Manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows and Linux systems.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 (Two) years administering Linux operating systems with strong capability in administering Ubuntu servers and workstations.
• Expertiseor Certification in AWScloud environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability tointerface effectively withexternal vendors, customers, and management.
• Manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows and Linux systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previousexperiencemaintainingnetworks inDOD Contractor environments.
• Experiencesupporting adeveloper opsenvironments.
• Experience with Administrating AWS instances.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

Pay range for this role

$110,000 - $143,000 USD
