Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies, based in California, is seeking a System Administrator to maintain Linux and Windows servers and provide on-site IT support. You will work with a responsive team to keep networks robust and secure while adapting to evolving requirements.

The role requires 4+ years in system administration, strong Linux experience (Ubuntu), and AWS proficiency. Excellent communication and vendor liaison skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years administering Linux operating systems (Ubuntu).
• AWS expertise or certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows and Linux systems.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 (Two) years administering Linux operating systems with strong capability in administeringUbuntuservers and workstations.
• Expertiseor Certification in AWScloud environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability tointerface effectively withexternal vendors, customers, and management.
• Manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

Pay range for this role

$121,000 — $149,000 USD
