Job summary

Andersen Corporation is hiring a Windows System Administrator to manage and optimize our Windows Server infrastructure across on-premises and Azure, with hybrid work from Oak Park Heights, MN. The role supports on-call rotations and collaborates with cybersecurity, network, and application teams to ensure reliable, secure services.

The position requires 3+ years in enterprise Windows administration, knowledge of AD/Group Policy, RDS, DNS/DHCP, and experience with VMware vSphere and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of enterprise Windows systems administration experience.
• Experience supporting Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, or 2025.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise file services.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Azure services, and enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments across on-premises and Azure.
• Monitor health, capacity, performance, and availability; perform patching and security hardening.
• Manage RDS environments, DNS/DHCP, and enterprise file services; support hybrid infra.
• Configure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and collaborate with multiple teams.
