Job summary

Genius Business Solutions Inc. (GBSI) seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Linux) to design and operate systems across our hybrid environment (AWS + on-prem).

You will own Linux host lifecycle automations, base images, and production stability while collaborating across engineering teams and security compliance efforts. Ideal candidates bring production Linux experience, strong automation skills (Python/Ruby, Ansible preferred), and a track record debugging complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Build automation for Linux host lifecycle (config, patching, images).
• Own system services, base images, and infrastructure components.
• Debug production issues across OS, performance, and service layers.
• Work across codebases (Go, Python, Ruby, C) to diagnose and fix issues.
• Lead projects from ambiguous problems to production.
• Improve reliability through automation and system design.
• Partner on security and FedRAMP requirements.
• Participate in a sustainable on-call rotation (~16 days/year).
