Job summary

Genius Business Solutions Inc. (GBSI) seeks an experienced Embedded Systems Architect to own end-to-end architecture for device stabilization in a Cognizant engagement with a leading life sciences customer.

You will lead cross-disciplinary reviews, coordinate with customer teams, and mentor embedded Linux and .NET engineers while shaping scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded Linux and Yocto for device stabilization and OS optimization.
• Ability to remove application dependencies (Java/ActiveMQ to ZeroMQ or D-Bus) and implement cycle-safe self-healing logic.
• Lead cross-stream architecture reviews and produce Architecture Decision Records for all design calls.
• Review and approve designs from Senior Embedded Engineers, .NET engineers, Cloud engineers, and DevOps across program workstreams.

• Serve as cross-stream technical authority for Cognizant engagement with a leading life sciences customer.

• Coordinate with customer’s technical authority and equipment development teams.

Job Description
