Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Linux) to drive reliability across Linux hosts, containers, and infrastructure. You will own lifecycle automation, design resilient base images, and debug production issues spanning OS to application layers.

We value collaboration across diverse teams, with opportunities to work from remote locations in the United States. A strong background in Go/C and cloud/on-prem environments is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years Linux experience in production environments.
• Strong automation skills (Python and/or Ruby; Ansible preferred).
• Experience debugging complex system issues across cloud and on-prem.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and container images.
• Proficiency in Go, C, or other systems-level languages.

Responsibilities

• Build automation for Linux host lifecycle (config, patching, images).
• Own system services, base images, and infrastructure components.
• Debug production issues across OS, performance, and service layers.
• Collaborate across codebases (C, Go, Python, Ruby) to diagnose issues.
• Lead projects from ambiguous problems to production.
• Improve reliability through automation and design.
• Participate in a sustainable on-call rotation (~16 days/year).
• Own the Linux layer across the platform; work across kernel to containers.
