AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Linux/Social Media Services Administrator (SA2) to support a government client in Laurel, Maryland. The role involves designing architectures, developing Linux-based solutions, and automating tasks in a hybrid cloud environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive Linux administration experience, hands-on scripting with Bash, Python, Puppet or Ansible, and TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Opportunity

AT&T has an opening for a Linux/Social Media Services Administrator to support Public Sector Solutions. Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: Work in an environment where you can help design the architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs. Looking for an innovative, motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on Linux administration and scripting automation experience. Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies is a plus. Must work well in a small team setting, have a desire to automate processes where possible, and a willingness to think outside the box to find solutions. This is a full‑time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed at a government customer site in Laurel, MD.

Required Skills

Required Clearance

Required Qualifications

Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Certifications

Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA)

Salary and Benefits

Our Linux/Social Media Services Administrator (SA2) (Government) earns $98,100 - $180,900 yearly.

Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
