Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years IT experience; supervision experience preferred.
  • Level 55T requires Bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience, or master’s degree and 3 years; 2 years supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Linux endpoint management tools for deployment, config, patching.
  • Automate endpoint administration tasks using scripting and IT automation tools.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and build new Linux endpoint technologies and tooling.
  • Manage and support Linux-based endpoints across the university.
  • Develop and maintain standardized Linux endpoint images and provisioning workflows.
  • Integrate Linux endpoints with identity management and single sign-on; enhance endpoint security.
  • Promote secure endpoint practices balancing usability and academic needs.
