Job summary
Northampton Community College is seeking a Part-time Lineworker Instructor to support the Lineworker Trainee Program. Instructors will work primarily outside to develop students' safety, pole climbing, and line construction competencies, while also delivering classroom instruction and exams.
The ideal candidate has at least five years as a Journeyman Lineworker, with prior experience as a trainer/instructor considered a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Journeyman Lineworker.
- Experience as a trainer/instructor is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Develop students' safety, pole climbing, and line construction competencies outside the classroom.
- Present course material and administer exams in the classroom.
