Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a Laundry Attendant to process soiled linen and distribute clean linen per SOPs in a safe, efficient manner. You will support guest service by addressing requests and problems promptly and work under supervision in a busy hotel laundry setting.

Responsibilities include operating industrial laundry equipment, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while upholding courteous guest interactions and teamwork across the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• No formal experience required for the position.
• Ability to recognize and work with numbers.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers.
• Process sorted linen utilizing washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeders/folders to ensure quality.
• Turn in all articles found in Linen Chute/Department to the Supervisor to log in Lost and Found.
• Fulfill guest requests and handle guest problems/complaints to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Report malfunctioning or damaged equipment, or mechanical problems to the Supervisor.
• Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards to ensure efficient operation.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
