Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to support hotel laundry operations. You will receive, sort, and process soiled linen, ensuring quality and efficiency across washers, dryers, and ancillary equipment.

A courteous approach to guest requests and issues helps maintain guest satisfaction and smooth daily operations. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment, with opportunities to contribute to guest experiences

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required for the position.
• Ability to recognize numbers.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment.
• Communicate information, respond to questions, and provide directions and hotel services to guests, vendors, staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers.
• Process sorted linen using washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders to ensure finished product meets quality standards.
• Turn in all articles from Laundry Chute/Department to the Supervisor to log in Lost and Found.
• Fulfill guest requests and handle guest problems/complaints to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment, or mechanical problems to the Supervisor.
• Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards to the department to ensure laundry operation runs at maximum efficiency.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
