PACS is seeking a general laundry and housekeeping worker to provide quality laundry service in a nursing home setting. The role involves handling linen for residents, following sanitary processes, and delivering clean items to rooms.

The position requires a GED or high school diploma, with 1 year of experience preferred. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and read directions related to procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: GED or High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove stained items.
• Collect laundry from residents daily.
• Label new resident clothing as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
