Job summary

PACS is seeking a Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to perform general laundry and housekeeping duties in a nursing home setting, ensuring sanitary conditions and fresh linens for residents.

Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma and about 1 year of experience preferred. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to follow safety procedures. Pay range is $18.00-$19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required or preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for all residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove damaged items.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use laundry equipment safely and report equipment issues to the Administrator.
