Job summary

The Womack Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC is seeking a Motor Vehicle Operator to perform a full range of duties transporting linen and related supplies within the facility and to wards as needed.

Experience with loading, unloading, and securing cargo within maximum load limits is required; workers frequently handle items up to 70 pounds and push carts over 400 pounds. Indoor/outdoor work on loading docks includes exposure to weather, with normal supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform the work of a Motor Vehicle Operator under minimal supervision.
• Deliver linen to wards and stamp linen for identification.
• Move linen supplies between storage locations to maintain stock levels.
• Load and secure cargo within maximum load capacity; follow safety procedures.
