The Heavy Equipment Operators safely operate heavy equipment used to load/unload ISO containers and military equipment. Responsible for performing Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services daily and reporting all discrepancies to the lead and maintenance scheduler.
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for keeping all heavy equipment assigned in good working condition by performing PMCS Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services. Ensures inspections are conducted and discrepancies are corrected when possible or turned in to maintenance for repair. Loading and Off-loading 20/TEUs and other oversize equipment using the Kalmar/ Terex and Crane on the installation. Attends training as required. Performs other job-related duties as directed from supervisor.
Valid Driver’s License (preferred Class A or B CDLs in order to operate the crane)
The ability to work overtime as required.
