Job summary

Saber Power Services, a leader in electrical power system services, seeks an experienced Lineman Superintendent to oversee field operations for transmission and distribution projects in Midland, TX. You will coordinate crews, equipment, and schedules while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires extensive high-voltage experience, proven leadership, and the ability to travel or work extended hours as project needs arise.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical transmission and distribution line construction and maintenance.
Journeyman Lineman certification preferred.
Class A CDL required or ability to obtain within 60 days.
Experience with high-voltage transmission systems (69kV–500kV) and substation tie-ins.
Experience with live-line work (rubber glove or hot stick).
Previous leadership roles such as Foreman or Superintendent.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily field operations for overhead and underground transmission projects.
Lead linemen, foremen, apprentices, and subcontractors.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and activities to meet schedules.
Review drawings and specs to ensure scope and expectations.
Oversee construction, maintenance, and repair of power lines and equipment.
Ensure safety policies, OSHA/NESC compliance, PPE, and fall protection.
Read blueprints and construction drawings; troubleshoot field issues.
Mentor and develop field personnel; document activities and progress.
