Job summary

Orbital Engineering Inc. seeks a Lineman Superintendent and Construction Coordinator for Eastern Pennsylvania projects.

The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and supervising transmission or distribution line construction to meet schedule and budget constraints while ensuring safety and environmental compliance. The position requires field leadership, coordination with client project managers, and ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Similar preferred
• Experience in Commercial / Industrial T&D or Experience in Management Preferred
• May have a background in structural, mechanical, or electrical construction but must be familiar with prints/drawings
• Must pass post-offer drug and alcohol test per Federal regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight to ensure compliance with safety procedures at site
• Participate in pre-construction planning reviews and obtain necessary permits and site plans
• Inspect construction and ensure adherence to specifications, drawings, and permits
• Identify field-purchased material needs and coordinate orders and deliveries
• Prepare Daily Log Reports tracking progress, safety incidents, and compliance
• Maintain redline drawings, conduct weekly safety audits, and manage scope changes
