Orbital Engineering Inc. seeks a Lineman to act as an Electrical Construction Coordinator for projects in the Greater Pittsburgh area. This on-site or hybrid role focuses on planning, coordination, and oversight of overhead line construction and maintenance while meeting schedule and budget objectives.

The position emphasizes safety, pre-construction reviews, and coordination with client teams. Travel to sites is required, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Formación

• Must be able to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test per Federal regulations.
• Experience in Commercial / Industrial T&D or Management preferred.
• Background in construction/engineering with familiarity of prints/drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safety oversight to comply with site procedures and report incidents.
• Participate in pre-construction planning, reviews, and plan postings.
• Inspect construction to ensure safety/environmental compliance and adherence to specs.
• Identify field-purchased material needs and coordinate deliveries; manage inventory.
• Prepare Daily Log Reports tracking progress, safety, and schedule.
• Maintain redline drawings, perform weekly safety audits, and sign timesheets.
• Willingness to travel; travel and lodging costs are reimbursable.
