Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of the nine-month Power Distribution program or equivalent.
• Journey Line worker Certification and CPR/First Aid knowledge are required.
• Able to report for duty within 30 minutes for standby and call out situations.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain overhead and underground lines and equipment.
• Terminate underground cables and install streetlights and related equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems and maintain substations.
• Operate and maintain power equipment and assist water crew as needed.
