Qualifications

• 3-5 years of previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications as a Telephony Lineman.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair aerial telecommunications cables.
• Safely use hand tools and equipment.
• Operate mechanized equipment like bucket trucks.

What you’ll do as a lineman

• Install and repair aerial telecommunications cables
• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, etc.
• Operate mechanized equipment like bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators
• Direct traffic flow per local DOT guidelines
• Work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders
• Work in multiple locations and travel between them
• Maintain safe working conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the US for this company
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience
• 3-5 years of previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications as a Telephony Lineman
• Knowledge of aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
• Ability to climb telephone poles and work in bucket trucks, up to 40 feet high
• Capability to perform all telecommunications construction duties
• Ability to set up and maintain safe work areas
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
