Job summary

Kids for the Future in Wolfforth, TX is seeking an experienced Lineman to install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution lines. The role requires safety awareness and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

You will climb poles, operate bucket trucks, read blueprints, and troubleshoot outages under the supervision of the Distribution Crew Foreman. A High School diploma or GED and a valid CDL are required; 3+ years' lineman experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 3+ years as a lineman; 5 years with DOL apprenticeship preferred.
• Reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical lines and devices.
• Climb poles/towers and work at heights using safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot faults and outages with testing equipment.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper PPE usage.
• Operate lineworker equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Document work performed and materials used.
