Job summary

Entergy Arkansas, LLC is seeking a Helper - Apprentice 3rd Year to construct, build, and maintain OH/UG electric facilities with primary voltages up to 15KV. The role requires physical work, climbing poles, and operating a bucket truck in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks lifting up to 115 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work irregular hours and travel as required.
• Completion of accredited lineworker training or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove and maintain OH/UG primary line facilities and secondary services.
• Install OH/UG transformers and wire transformer banks of various types.
• Install and wire regulators, capacitors, and reclosers; drive various trucks as needed.
• Read job prints, understand sketches, and recognize materials and their functions.
• Set and climb poles in open areas or near energized lines; be available for on-call duty.
