Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Apprentice 4th Year in Hot Springs, AR to construct, build and maintain OH/UG electric facilities with voltages up to 15KV. This onsite role emphasizes safety, reliability and hands-on field work.

Primary duties include installing and maintaining line facilities, transformers and related equipment, reading prints, and climbing poles. Travel up to 25% may be required; pre-employment Fitness for Duty is required.

Qualifications

• Must travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Installation, removal and maintenance of OH/UG line facilities up to 15KV.
• Install transformers, regulators, capacitors and reclosers.
• Drive trucks and operate bucket and other heavy equipment.
• Read job prints and sketches; set and climb poles in various locations.
• Be available for on-call duty and emergency response.
