Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Apprentice 4th Year - Journeyman Lineman to construct and maintain OH/UG electric facilities, up to 15kV, onsite in Arkansas. Responsibilities include installing transformers, regulators, reclosers, and operating bucket trucks.

The role requires passing safety and fitness requirements, living within 20 miles of Warren, AR, and ability to work extended hours or on-call shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• Must live within 20 miles of work location.
• Ability to use physical strength to perform tasks in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work irregular hours and out-of-town assignments as required.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to take and understand directives with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Construct, build and maintain OH/UG electric facilities up to 15kV.
• Install, remove and maintain OH/UG primary line facilities and secondary services.
• Install transformers, regulator devices, capacitors and reclosers.
• Operate trucks and heavy equipment including bucket and digger derrick trucks.
• Read job prints and sketches; identify materials and their function.
