Entergy Arkansas, LLC is seeking an Apprentice 4th Year to support installation, maintenance, and operation of OH/UG electric facilities up to 15kV. This on-site role focuses on hands-on field work, safety, and responding to outages with a team of linemen.

Primary duties include installation and wiring of transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reclosers, plus operating bucket trucks and digger derricks. Mobility and adherence to safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Must live within 20 miles of work location.
• Ability to use physical strength to perform required tasks in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work irregular hours and out of town assignments as required.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to take and understand directives and complete tasks with limited supervision.

Responsabilités

• Install, remove and maintain OH/UG primary line facilities and secondary services.
• Install OH/UG transformers and wire transformer banks.
• Install, including wiring of regulators, capacitors, and reclosers.
• Drive different sizes and types of trucks.
• Operate equipment including Aerial Bucket and Digger Derrick Trucks.
• Read and understand job prints and sketches.
• Recognize material(s) and their function.
• Set and climb poles in open areas, rear alleys and energized lines.
• Be available for on call duty and emergency response.
