LCEC in North Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Apprentice Line Specialist in an early third-year program. The role combines on-the-job training, after-hours study, and field tasks to build overhead/underground distribution expertise.

The program requires a high school diploma and active line worker apprenticeship progress, with a Florida Class A CDL preferred. Expect a 45-minute commute radius and site-based work across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to climb poles and operate from bucket trucks with PPE.
• Live within 45-minute commute of the regular work site.

Responsibilities

• Attain full qualification as a lineman/woman in one/two years.
• Construct/maintain distribution facilities safely and efficiently.
• Respond to after-hour emergencies and restore service promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and stock.
