Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and either completion of a certified line worker apprentice program or four years of journeyman line experience, plus a Class A CDL.

• Proof of completion of a certified line worker apprentice program and/or four years of journeyman line worker experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Construction/maintenance of transmission and distribution facilities.
• Ensure facilities remain reliable and efficient.
• Assist in emergency repair and power restoration after outages.
• Respond to calls during regular and extended hours.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and usage.
• Follow LCEC safety rules and applicable codes.
