Job summary

Congruex is seeking an experienced Lineman to build and maintain telecommunications systems, including aerial and underground facilities. The role involves pole work, cable installation, and operating heavy equipment.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, CDL, and safety certifications. The job requires outdoor work in variable weather, plus the ability to read specifications and respond to outages.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and transportation.
• Extensive knowledge of approved practices, procedures, tools, and materials used in telecom line construction work.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• DOT Medical Card and CDL required; CPR/First Aid knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains major cable systems and structures.
• Reads and interprets work orders, specs, drawings and cut sheets.
• Performs digging, pole work, laying cable and conduit underground.
• Operates power equipment and test devices.
• Completes daily production reports and As-Built documentation.
• Responds to emergencies and outages; ensures safety and compliance.
