Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Lineman to build and maintain telecommunications systems including aerial and underground facilities. This role supports our mission to deliver end-to-end network solutions while prioritizing safety and reliability.

You will read work orders and drawings, perform digging, pole work, cable installation, and equipment grounding across remote sites, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safe operation in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and transportation.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains major cable systems and structures and related components.
• Reads and interprets work orders, specifications, drawings and cut sheets.
• Performs construction work such as digging, climbing poles, and laying cable.
• Operates power equipment mounted on trucks.
• Uses test equipment to check for gas in manholes and clears debris.
• Connects wires and cables to terminals and hardware.
• Responds to emergency and outage situations requiring heavy construction.
• Ensures safety and adherence to governmental orders.
• Completes daily production reports and as-built documentation.
