Job summary

Team Fishel is hiring an Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman in the Cleveland/Akron area. The role focuses on planning, installing, and maintaining overhead fiber facilities, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include setting poles, installing strand, and ensuring OSHA-compliant safety practices. 1+ years of industry experience and CDL-A preference are required; bilingual candidates are strongly desired.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years’ experience in the industry.
• Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area.
• Valid CDL-A is strongly desired.
• Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Planning and initiating projects for aerial/overhead telecom lines.
• Establishing OSHA and customer safety requirements.
• Setting poles and installing/maintaining fiber facilities.
• Installing and maintaining down guys, overhead guys, etc.
• Building risers and related components.
• Tree trimming and site readiness.

Aerial Telecom Lineman will handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. It's also a great opportunity to be part of the team establishingTeam Fishelas the leader in the utility construction industry in the state of Ohio as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

• Planning and Initiating Projects
• Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
• Setting Poles
• Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
• Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
• Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
• Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
• Tree Trimming

Lineman Requirements & Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years’ experience in the industry
• Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area
• Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
• Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
• Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
